    Need Ricoh SR 5030

You won't believe, but the plockmatic BK 5030 will not dock to any ricoh printer unless the SR 5030 is used...at least thats what I have concluded so far. The SR 5040 doesn't have the CN2 port on the circuit board to plug the cable from the BK 5040...Does anyone know where I can get a SR 5030 to go with my 751ex machine? I've looked all over the USA!

Try Equipment Brokers Unlimited. They show one in stock. They might even make an offer on your SR 5040.

Yes, I checked with them earlier today and they wanted $750 plus $400 shipping. May have to
bite the bullet and buy it....the 5040 has a CN2 marked on circuit board, but there is no terminal to plug cable from BK 5040 into...I thought about soldering one in but not sure that would work, or tear something up. I can't believe this is only setup that the Plockmatic BK 5030 is compatible with.
    Thank you for responding!

The SR 5040 is a booklet finisher and will not support the Plockmatic.

One other option. You can have the customer shift or rotate the prints and then hand feed the sets into the Plockmatic

Ya, I would be tempted but you can't hand feed the TR 5030..it has to be inline with a printer...one that has the SR 5030....which means the 751ex or 651ex machines. I'm not sure of any other Ricoh's that use the SR 5030. All the SR 5030's must have been exported.

I have hand fed it. You just have to feed it sets not individual sheets.
