Ricoh mpc2051:random cut a part of image during a copy of id card

hello everyone, I have this client, a newspaper kiosk, which for more than 1 year has been telling me that the mpc2051 during the duplex copy of the identity card and health cards, rarely happens that cuts a piece of image during the second scan, I state that I have never seen the defect personally, but the client sent me a scan of the defect.it would seem that the software is being fooled by some watermark and believes it is copying money, and therefore applies protections (?).does anyone have any ideas?I attach the defect, I think you understand (the lower left part is cut, you can see a strip of the health card)

It is to be excluded that does not photocopy the back of the tax code, I always did. I think it is instead the format setting or the wrong position of the second facade. Unless sometimes the machine changes the size of the paper in the tray due to false contacts of the size actuator.

hello, it happens very rarely, and of these types of jobs it does several a day, some strange reflection from the tax code (?) this is the only problem that the machine has, during copies, prints, faxes, and other jobs, he never made any cuts, the customer told me that he does it only with the tax code (?)

then try in b / w. With the color I think it has protections for banknotes, checks etc. However, carefully clean the scanner

this type of print job is however always done in black and white, I tried with a 20 euro banknote, a completely black sheet comes out.I propose the improved attachment, perhaps the one before was not clear

Copy a ordinary paper with the same measurements and the same settings.
    Same problem?

I would tell him to feed 2nd side thru bypass and see if it happens.
IT is a 7-8 yr old box so when a customer comes at me with this weird stuff i tell
that and if they want to pay my hourly to troubleshoot then i will try to figure it out..
most times they will not pay.

Try shrinking or enlarging the image before copying and see if that makes a difference. As I recall, if you enlarge by at least 25% you can get some protected documents to copy in black and white.
