    MPC 3003 scanner section bend

    Hi friends, the problem is MPC 3003 scanner section bend because of some heavy thing fall down on top of the machine when ADF is not there so the home position sensor side the glass broken and the side slightly bend .so when i try to make copie or scan the top side totaly blured. so anyone can help me to solve this...

    The mirrors are factory set the position is absolutely critical.

    I don't think you'll ever resolve this issue scrap the machine is my advice.

    not an impossible task but certainly not an easy one. Send us some photos of the damaged part, which, in my opinion, should be dismantled and restored to its original form. I believe only you can fix it by trying to straighten the folded parts.

    I've encountered this more than a few times. You just got to dismantle, locating bent/broken parts along the way, replacing repairing. Make sure everything is square and lined up when reassembling. Sometimes it is time consuming and frustrating but 99% of time it can be done. Good luck with it. You can do it!

    Obviously you have never had to replace scanner wires. All you need is a set of scanner positioning pins.

    The only thing that is factory set and cannot be adjusted in the field is the lens block assembly. You have to replace as a unit.

    I find if scanner frame is bent or twisted best to forget about it and charge customer
