    [SP 4510] Drum Unit

    Good afternoon.
Perhaps you are tired of hearing about the problems with the SP 4510 drum units and the risks that appear on them, we are using a Katun toner and they do not last long, 2k, 3k maximum. Up-to-date printers with the filter, will only the original toner work on them?

    Thanks

You do not need to post the same thing in both the Ricoh copier forum and the Ricoh printer forum.

So, you've come here solely to inform us that crappy, low grade toner is not a good idea?

That's just an amazing bit of insight. Who Knew???
    Thank you so much!

    Re: [SP 4510] Drum Unit

    Hi there!
The units were modified (2nd cleaningblade, etc...) and going astonishingly good (compared to the beginning), but using crap-toner is one of the badest ideas.
If someone know that the pcdu´s are "tricky" and using this Sh.t he can take the upacked unit and throw it in the wastebasket (save´s the time unpacking it).
    Greetings...

I have been beating this same drum since the 80's compatible toner WILL RUIN YOUR MACHINE!
