Hi,
I have this MP 1350 at place where customer prints mostly NCR, carbonless paper. Also That paper is low quality. Wish If I could reduce the speed of the machine to 90 cpm. Does anyone knows if there is settings in diag to change?
Thanks

Is the machine jamming? Be prepared to replace the registration roller when running NCR on this model. It's kind of a pain to get the registration assy out.
Yes, NCR just eating reg roller. But, it's too fast to run this low quality NCR on 135.i have another unit mp 9000 and it works just fine.

Low Speed Mode (CPM Down)
The User Tools has a selection (System Settings> General Features> Optimum for
Thick Paper: Set to On) that allows the customer to improve the fusing of images
and text on thick paper and tracing paper by reducing the cpm (this is done by
reducing the drum speed).
The speed reductions are as follows:
B234/D101: No speed reduction (stays at 90 cpm)
B235/D102: Reduced from 110 cpm to 90 cpm
B236/D103: Reduced from 135 cpm to 110 cpm
Also, according to the Product Support Guide for the Pro 1357X, if feeding from the LCT replace the rollers with the following:Pick-up roller Feed roller AF030071
Feed roller AF031041
Separation roller AF032041
Setting the driver to thick paper should reduce the speed. LOL. Looks like Slim beat me to the draw.
NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING
This setting is only for thick papers. We are having problems with 60gsm paper.
I have used "thick" setting a few times to solve imaging issues while using paper that was not in the "thick" category because of it's lighter weight. Have you tried it to see if it would work?

You have to rewire the fuser connector as it is on the 90-page machine. This works the other way around too. the machine will start working at 90 pages. that is why melters are not compatible with each other.
Make sure to change both, the fuser connector and the connector of the machine.
