Ricoh MP7500 - During the copying, the value of Vref did not change

    Ricoh MP7500

After TD sensor initial setting, the value of Vref is less than 250. (EX1: Vref=109, Vt=278 or EX2: Vref=149, Vt=80)

Every 2000 copy cycle record Vref and Vt value
The value didn't change until it is copied to 10,000 sheets.

    EX1:
    2k copy Vref=109,Vt=7
4k copy Vref=109,Vt=13 --->image density is too high, so stopped the copy

    EX2:
    2k copy Vref=149,Vt=62
    4k copy Vref=149,Vt=33
    6k copy Vref=149,Vt=37
    8k copy Vref=149,Vt=35
10k copy Vref=149,Vt=31 --->The usage of toner is higher than the normal time (TD sensor initial setting, Vref > 250)

I don't know the reason to cause the situation. The situation (TD sensor initial setting, Vref < 250) doesn't appear for every time.

Have you ever encountered a similar situation? Can you give me some advice?

    Thank you very much.

The Developer may be defective, or not OEM.
Have you only changed the Developer?
Didn't you do the Full Preventive?
You should keep in mind that, along with the Developer, you should add the rest of the pieces for their best quality response.

PS: A detail that is overlooked.
You've cleaned the toner density sensor from the drum???
Check if the "anti-spill" of the drum unit is ok. And it doesn't generate dirt on that sensor.

"ALL WILL BE WELL" The battle cry that most inspires me to follow, from the DC's Comic character that I admire the most. And I feel satisfied with being better every day, and with using Gnu-Linux as my usual Operating System.Apologies for my English, it's not my mother tongue and I'm helping the translator.

The very first thing you should have done was to properly clean the ID sensor.
    1. Brush and wipe all spewed toner from the PCU frame. If yu try to use a vacuum, stay at least 2 inches away from the sensor as static generated by vacuuming the toner will damage the sensor.
    2. It there is a lot of toner on the sensor itself use a camera lens brush with air bulb to remove.
    3. Wipe the sensor off with a soft cotton cloth slightly moistened with water only. Fabric other than cotton can create static and damage the sensor. Glass cleaner can leave a film and solvents like alcohol can damage the sensor.

If the sensor has been damaged by improper cleaning in the past, replace it. Run SP 3001-002.
