Hi all, I went out to a Ricoh MPC 5503 that makes a loud noise when printing or copying. I changed the image transfer belt and transfer roller thinking the noise was coming from them as they were showing heavy wear but not the case. Is fisting unit meant to be fuser unit?? Also link doesn't go anywhere.
If you can't find: it's about the noise coming from the sleeve unit (felt heating tape - you have to grease it)

To run the test I will replace the fuser unit with another one and see how it goes.
Do not, I repeat DO NOT , Google "fisting unit"!
