First, if the title of your thread ends in the word "print" nobody will be able to respond to the thread. As far as the problem do not use any print driver but the PCL6 (not the universal). WSD and built in windows "Ricoh Class drivers" are junk.

Thank you for both tips.
Thanks mika, definitely annoyingforumbug for both posters and one wanting to reply.

i haven't had an issue with the ricoh universal print driver. it's usually whenever microsoft tries to install it's driver we start to get issues. usually if i remove MS driver and just use the ricoh seems to work well. just my 2 cents. that being said i haven't used it on the model you are referring to. so.......
Thank you all, I will take a closer look at the drivers.
I use nothing but the PCL6 Universal. Keep it updated and it works great. Never had an issue.
If you’re using a print manager software where the jobs can be released at any connected machine (such as Equitrac or Streamline), you’re almost forced to use the universal driver.
Keep in mind that if your machines have PostScript, there is a PostScript universal, too.
Ricoh told us years ago that they would stop developing the PCL5 drivers in favor of PCL6, and the universal driver would replace the RPCS versions.

But you do not need to use print management software in order to pool print devices. PCL6 Driver for Universal Print PCL 6 driver to offer full functions for Universal Printing. This driver enables users to use various printing devices. The availability of functions will vary by connected printer model.
If you do not understand pooled printers here is a tutorial. There is one error in the tutorial. You do not need to be from the same manufacturer and of the same model. They just need to be using the same driver hence the PCL6 Driver for Universal Print. In the case of the PCL6 V4 Driver for Universal Print they do not even need to be from the same manufacturer, they just need to all be using a driver that supports the V4 architecture, which Microsoft introduced as its next-generation driver architecture, and offers universal printing.

Anyone remember the “mini driver”?
I never really used it, but it did save the day once. I had an account about 10 or 12 years ago that printed tons of pages a day from Word Perfect, and they had mixed orientations and duplex settings within the same job. Ugly, I know.
I don’t remember the model but it was a Segment 6 Ricoh, no Fiery.
No other driver worked like they wanted it to. Out of desperation I tried the mini PCL5 driver and life was good. It basically let the application do the driving.
I gained a new respect for it after that little adventure.
