It sounds to me like paper feed is for some reason being energized during engine initialization or actually at power down. Try turning power on with the doors open.

About the idea door switches (oxidation on contacts) because "at power on" it would do it during the day.

I would think the power supply unit, because at power on , and it does the something with all trays, and only after switched ON.

Did I say check the door switches? NO I said power up with the doors open. If you power up with the doors open the engine will not start until you close the doors. It is a trouble shooting technique that has existed for decades.

i would try to update firmware then swap the paper feed station with tray 2 , and test it !

Considering that the introduction date in the US was May 2016, 4 years at most.
