    the supplied toner is blocked somewhere, check all pcdu openings for obstruction

    Spilled toner blocking laser from exposing the drum? Clean slit glass and make sure you have cleaned any toner piled outside the laser unit AND inside too. I know you said you have cleaned up the spills, but this is the only other thing that I could think of. My apologies if you have already done this too. Good luck.

    Ok, if you put it together, that means you had things disassembled. If it was imaging before you did that, you need to backtrack everything that you did and check for self-made problems like unseated connectors and such. If you pulled and vacuumed the LD unit, it is possible you smoked a pcb with static, or a cable was reinstalled incorrectly.
