    MPC307 leading edge

    HI

When copying or printing more then one prints, the registration is not correct.
Sometimes it is 1 or 2 inches below the head . . .

Does this mean that the registration clutch need to be changed?
    only 5K on the counter . . .?

    Thanks in advance

That is usually caused by the side door, the hooks that latch onto the transfer unit have a shaft that runs through the middle of them twists and the door doesn't latch correctly.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

You're sure about that, because the side door closes correct . . .

    George,

    is there an error code?

do the paper types/sizes/weights match on PC & copier/printer settings?

    what have you done?

    cleaned sensors?
    feeds?
    registration assmy?

    are all bushings/springs/clips in place?
    paper guides tight against media?

so many questions... so little info.

    Hi Phil,

    no error code,
paper sizes are correct, first copy and print always good, more then one it gives an registration fault without an error, not always . .

Cleaned pickup and registration roller, and checked the ITB unit

paper guides allright, just one cassette

bushes seems to be in place, again first copy/print always good.

registration clutch not in store, think its the clutch, but with 5K on the counter?
