Thank you
SC685 C Power Supply Error 1
PSU 2 failure.
• PSU 2 harness disconnected or broken
• PSU 2 defective
• Interlock relay board defective
Most probably your Power Supply 2 is fried...
You could check your fuses, but failing that I'd recommend calling a tech (I'd recommend that anyway, but you seem like you want to give it a try, so...)

thank you for your reply.
i have two ricoh c751,
I completely changed the two board ( PSU 2 and relay board ).
but the problem is still available

It's possible that the other PSU is also blown - hell, with a power outage, it's possible that any other electrical component is out of order.
I'd start by double-checking all the PSU2 and relay board connections, and then I'd try to replace the PSU1 also.
Failing that, it's uphill from there - from the Goose Guide, on another not-so-dissimilar model, they replaced both PSUs plus the IOB.
Good luck!

You may need to get out your test meter and start checking voltages. Once you find what voltage is missing check the point to point to see where that voltage goes to. I had a paper feed motor with an internal short to ground take down the 24V supply on a Pro 1357EX once.
Thank you for your answers 🙏🙏
the second machine works well.
what's weird is i changed the PSU 2 + IOB + BCU but nothing.
on the other hand I did not check PSU 1. I will do it tomorrow and I will give you a return.
Thank you
Once you get it fixed, get surge suppressors on those machines.
it's really weird.
even change the PSU 1.the problem still remains.😔
( the screen stays black and I have to put a lamp to see the error - sc 685- ).🤔🤔
If the screen backlit is off and you can still see the screen error, then there's something else afoot - in older models we'd talk about the bicu and the laser motor (although it would be a different code, if memory serves me right).
You would think that's an important detail to tell us...

I never had that problem on that model before (I really don't have any of those machines under my umbrella, tbh), so I did a little research.
And couldn't find anything besides what was already said - meaning that, unless someone else can share their experiences, you'll need to start swapping boards one by one until you find the culprit.
