IM C3500 - E32

Hello,

We just received a IM C3500 and we are getting a "Download Error E32". At first the error said "Download Error E32 METMF3Aa_eplot" which I was able to find in the service manual that was the Engine Firmware, but the "METMF3Aa_eplot" has gone away now.

I have tried Reloading the Firmware, reseating boards, the reset 1 4 3 c(x3). I have looked in the service manual tried everything I found in there and everything I have found online.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be very helpful.

Some of the older manuals had a Program Download section that included a table of E codes. I found the following in the Pro 1357EX manual.

E32 Download dysfunction 3

Reboot After Card Insert E32 Module
Download interrupted because card is not correct, or power failure interrupted download.

Use the correct card
If power failure caused the failure, remove the card and insert another.

You are mistaken he is not talking about "Fabrica/factory mode."

The 143 C x3 is fw reset after error.

Did you try updating the firmware VIA USB or SD card?

Also does the machine let you access SP mode?

What happened prior to this error message. Was a tech updating the firmware or you just got call from client that machine is showing the error message ?

Possible that machine was doing firmware update remotely?

I think you need to isolate whether it's the has firmware or controller.

Take a working SD card, format it with the Ricoh tool. Load ONLY the System firmware. See if the machine gives you the issue.

Then move on to loading the engine firmware only and load that on the machine.

If that doesn't work then it may be your controller
