    ITB Stopper MPC3002

    Hi guys.
Can someone confirm me if the right ITB stopper of MPC2800 code: B2236085 can fit in the MPC3002 ITB?
I dont have any 3002 in hand to check myself, and the one i'm going to service have the stopper broken.

    Thank you.

I think that stopper is basically interchangeable on all the ITB's that look like that from when the MPC2000 came out till the 3002 came out. So loads of models you can steal one off

For some reason Ricoh in all their wisdom decided to only make the entire ITB unit available on the 02s. The part number for that part on 01s is the same as on the C2800. The part number for the 03s is D1496037.

OK. Confirmed guys. The stopper works there too.
The initial problem was SC460 followed by SC492. Seems the if the ITB is not firmly in place you get strange high voltage errors.

why not just use the maintenance kit transfer units for the 3002 PN: 407037

So much cheaper than rebuilding and comes complete with the cleaning unit

It has only the stopper broken. Some 'tech guy' must have used hulk force to brake it.
    The belt is ok anyway.

On the Cxx03 a broken ITB stopper will allow the PTR end of the ITB assembly to move slightly when the shutter solenoid for the ID sensor assembly energizes. Just enough to cause the sensors to not be fully uncovered.

Not sure if the mpc3002 is the same as I think the ptr roller and top case is a different size but you may be correct.
