Are the pages gritty to the touch?
Maybe try another toner supply unit...might not be adding toner correctly.
Was the first printout (or copy) after your PM good are - right away - too light?
Were the printouts also light before your pm?
I would try adjusting the Dev Bias as a test. Factory is -550 drop it down to -900 to see if it prints darker. If the prints are darker but the copies are still light next I would adjust scanner gamma. All workarounds we had to come up with working for a company that insisted on using Katun drums and type28 developer on these. But be warned the drum cavity will get dirty real quick and toner will build up around mag roller if you have to adjust the Dev bias that low. Parts also won't reach yield

Clean the machine's air/ozone filters, and the ID sensors. Do a forced toner supply till the image looks like you want it, then reset developer again. If the forced toner supply does not increase the image density, then your problem may be a toner supply, or drum ground issue.
