    03/04 drum rebuild kits

Many vendors offer rebuild kits for these. I heard rumor Ricoh is also planning to do it. Has anyone heard about it?

If you have the time, of course using a rebuild kit is a great way of saving money. Why waste a perfectly good drum unit if only the charge roller is worn out etc.

The issue is, is getting hold of genuine original ricoh parts and not the cheap Chinese stuff.

If you could get hold of original components, ie drum cylinder, lube bar, charge roller etc would you buy them?

Katun has re-construction Kit's that work quite well, if it is by customers who are very sybaritic (tingty) with the theme of prices for repairs.
They do not have them for all models, but of the few times they have tried, at the moment they have yielded good quality / price.

I buy only the AD027050 charge roller for the 03/04 series (My parts pusher classifies this as compatible). Ricoh will never admit is their product but the box has all the Ricoh stuff in. QR Code/SN ecc.

You will find the only one part in the rebuild kit is the charge roller that's common

The ones I get direct from Ricoh are in a bigger box, then inside that box they are in a clear plastic inner case.

Can you take a MP C3004 PCDU and put it into a MPC3003? Are you just doing the drum or entire unit?

    Thx
