I have an old copy machine I was just wondering if anyone knew what the error codes were in 1991 for a Ricoh Copier.
I'm getting E2 on the display. Called customer support but they have no clue. Go figure. Thanks in advance.

Check fuse 101 on the DC power supply.
I don't have an explanation of the code. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That is so old that I don't even have any manuals. I do have a listing in the April 2003 B/W Analog Read CD index that identifies it as Product Code A054 discontinued in May 2000. Gooses Guide has some problems for it but not E2.
I found the FT2260 service manual on the RFG website so I'm not sure if the error codes would be the same but if it is, it shows that there should be a second code (E20 - E24, E2U, E28, E2A-D)
Is there a subcode or just the E2?
do u mean E2B?
Live for yourself and you will live in vain. Live for others, and you will live again
Been awhile but you have to hold down another key to get the rest of the error code. Maybe it was the enter or something like that and that should give you extra digits to get the full code. But E2 codes of any sort back in those days usually dealt with an issue in the scanner area.
