Depends on whether you have a normal operation panel or a Smart Operation Panel:Normal operation panel
- Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.
- Press language key until the language you want to display appears.
SOP
- Press the [Home] key on the top left of the control panel. Flick the screen to the left, and then press the [User Tools] icon () on the Home screen 4.
- Press language key until the language you want to display appears.
Unlike older models that only loaded 2 languages and required reload the language to be able to change 1 or both of them, on the 03s all available languages are loaded by the factory. If the exact language you want does not appear, it is not available.
have check the language but italian language is not loaded if the language is not loaded what should I do to have the Italian language? i must load the new firmware? thanks
If you scrolled through all the languages then as far as I know if a language is not preloaded at the factory on those models, the only solution is to contact Ricoh-EU. You may even have to pay to have a custom language firmware created.
thanks slimslob I wanted to tell you that I have two of these photocopiers on the other the Italian language is there and I solved it immediately ... is it possible somehow to use the firmware of this second photocopier and install it on the one that does not have the Italian language?
this is the firmware language "0" and "1" D1491490Q, for both copiers the same firmware but while one has 5 languages preloaded (including Italian) the second only 2 (English and French)
The only thing that I can think of is that one of them is from the first production run, before they started loading all 5 languages. Reflashing both language firmware entries might correct it. If not it will allow you to select the 2 languages you wish to have available to the user. One thing you might check is if the part number on both BICU boards are the same. The number stamped on the board that has the production letter not the one for the bare board.
