MPC2003 Won't wake up from sleep.

Does anyone have a solution for a problem I am having with an Ricoh MP C2003. The machine works well during normal operation. When it goes into sleep mode the machine won't wake up when either a print job is sent, the DF is lifted or a document is placed on the feeder. The control panel is also inoperable until the machine is turned OFF/ON when normal operation carries on until sleep mode starts again. Lapsed firmware has been updated and the controller board swapped with one from another machine. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Have you power cycled the machine?

If you did, my next step would be firmware.

If firmware is up to date, check all time out settings. Multiple settings being exact the same can cause problems.

What firmware did you update, the package or using the romdata method?

There was a bulletin on this specific issue.

Thumbs up Re: MPC2003 Won't wake up from sleep.

To be fare to ThePomqueteer, I did edit the question whilst receiving the quick reply.

I have updated the firmware using the romdata method.

The timer settings are set as follows :- Sleep mode 60 mins
System, Copier, Print & Scanner Auto reset 60 secs
    Auto logout 240 secs
    Fuser OFF mode is off.

Which bulletin relates to this problem ?

Many thanks for the replies so far

I was going to say I know I didn’t see anything about firmware when I first read it, thought I was going crazy for a second there
