This threat is about the functionality about that part.
Most that i have serviced in the past did not have any cleaning unit and worked well.
Just keep a spare tested used or rebuilt unit at the stand by and keep a full set of gears.
One one way gear cracks often and better to change the lot..

Of cause the fuser will last longer if you only replace half the fuser parts the new parts that you fitted will not last pm life.

Yes, replacing the cleaning and oil roller does extend the life of the fuser and helps keep it from dog earing and jamming.
