    [SOLVED] Pro 1107 + SR5000 with J102

    Hi guys!

    Just solved this one.

If you get J102 on SR5000 when you are NOT punching, check if the mylars inside the Punch Unit are torn.

    Hope this helps anyone.

None of my customers use hole punch so not sure if their needed but we just remove them and leave off with no issues.

This also happens on the SR5050/ SR5060 finisher on the Pro 8100,8200, C7100, and C9100 the mylars get warped and chewed up and causing jamming, just take the punch unit out and remove them have had no issues doing this yet.

    Unless your customer uses it

In case I ever need to do that, when you remove the punch unit, how do you fill the gap?

He is not talking about removing the entire punch unit, only the Mylars. I have left them off while waiting for new Mylars to come in from Ricoh. My customers that have production models do thousands of punched copes a day.
