MPC2504ex with SPF

Hi,

Does anybody know if you can place an ADF instead of the SPF which is installed . . .
In my memory I thought that this is not possible.

Not possible. If you look at the installation of the SPDF for the Cxx03 models you will notice that the ARDF and the SPDF require different BCU PCB. The IPU for the CIS mounts on the SPDF BCU.

Didn't think this model came with a SPDF???
ARDF is the standard option for this model.
So if it has a SPDF on it and it's working, then I would assume you could switch to regular ADF. Would just have to make sure and upload the right firmware for that ADF (ARDF 3090 f/w.).

I forgot about that board being different to accommodate the CIS.
