    mpc3003 paper is bulging

    Hello,
    Problem is bulging paper.
In such a way that, in the receiving tray, paper curls and pushes itself onto the floor.
Customer says the problem is with A3 and A4.
I think it is moisture paper (it is autumn here at this moment).
Could a tray heater solves this problem?
Could it be a bad fuser?
Total counter 206K. and no fuser parts where yet replaced.
Did you have seen this problem before?
    Thank you for helping us.

Hello... Have same problem here! It's moisture... Solved partially... Lay a book or similar in the exit tray so the paper didn't curl... Obviously it's not the final solution

Most likely damp paper. You could check for condensation in fuser and exit sections to confirm.

Codex, we have removed the receiving plate (can't find the part number), so paper now will "fall" onto D1491230
For A3 that's good, but for A4 it's fall is to deep, so problem remains now due to height ...

I think ricoh did a modification on the exit tray to avoid "paper rolls". I agree this is usually a seasonal phenomenon for some machines placed in enviroments with humidity issues during autumn, especially if the temperature drops big time during night if there's no room heating.

I have seen drops in that area with older models, but would it be in this model too?
Me not, have you seen it on this model?
But, i will investigate that, thanks to remind me about that.

Gift, the area where the machine is located is a very large entrance hall. I think temperature is constant, but it is possible it may not.
I will investigate that, thank you.
