Ricoh 8120s pro Dirty paper edges

I just inherited a 8120s with only 800k on it. Did a full pm on it runs great but the edges of the paper are dirty. Cleaned the paper path and its good for about 1000 prints then it comes back i cant seem to find where the toner is coming from. any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Check out the Troubleshooting section of your Service Manual. It addresses something like what you are describing. Good luck!

Pull out the ITB assy. and take the lower plates off. Are they real dirty? Clean them and check to see if the front and rear edges of the ITB are hanging down, the belt stretches and hang low on the ends, touching the plates.

Check the filters and the ducting in the back. Were they replaced at PM? If not, toner puffing from the dev unit can cause this. If they are fine, there is a duct under the dev unit that fills with toner when the dev unit fails.

If you haven't changed them, do all 4. Two in the toner duct and two at the top right hand side.
