RICOH SP C250sf printing red pages.

    Hello everyone.

After searching I found a couple similar issues but they seem to be relative to newer models that have ACC.

My printer started printing pages red (pink) on one side, after removing a paper jam that was up through the fusing unit.

I received an alert regarding cleaning the density sensor. I preformed that task and it did not seem to make a difference.

I did manage to get 2 prints to come out ok when using only "B&W/monochrome" settings, but then it started doing this again. Also, I am getting more frequent paper jams at the front, as well.

I also performed a color registration in system settings but this does not seem to have made a difference.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    1. Bad, extremely dirty, magenta charge roller.
    2. Bad magenta charge roller contact.
    3. Bad magenta HVPS.

Broken magenta PCDU. Did you try to replace consumable? Replace the magenta toner at first. Or at least try to put the unit out of machine, you might see the spilled toner..

if the problem appeared after removing the jam, (I imagine you have removed some / all the cartridges) probably some of the contact plates inside the charge roller cartridge have loosened, surely it was already up by a miracle, maybe the mechanical movement to remove the cartridge and place it on the table, often happens even on remanufactured hp.

Sorry for the delay everyone, I wasn't getting alerts for some reason.

    I'll try this out.

    Thank you so much.
