I am having a bit of trouble getting into service program. I can get into the main service program, also factory mode, but it will not go into the individual program, ie. copy, printer, scanner, fax, portions. Not grayed out. Just beeps. Hmmm. What up with this?

Yes, it is. It is actually from another machine. The one I am having problems with had the 672-11 code with the op panel non-responsive at all, buttons or otherwise. I am able to get into the firmware update box but that's it. Am I dealing with a controller board issue? I was just recently repaired by Hytec.
hi, I would not like to make a stupid observation, but, it is not that you have java activated? as soon as you turn on the machine it may have biblical times before it allows you to advance in the various sp menus ... if one does not keep it in mind it could turn off and on again again ending up in a psychological loop
Check if the machine has hard drive.
Go in copy screen ( not sp mode but copying screen) and see if double sides original is grayed out
If it works, don't touch it.
