I'm trying to set up 2 separate Icons on the smart panel, 1 would default to scan to email and the other scan to folder.
Is this possible ?

While I don't know the answer to this, I'm astonished that it's apparently far too much effort for your client to use the Classic App and simply switch between folder and email
It's LITERALLY 1 extra touch

Customizing the LCD improves customer satisfaction and is easy to do on competitive models like Toshiba where the LCD panel is basically an interactive tablet.

Yes you can it's in the user manual quite easy to do

The default for the Classic Scan function can be set in User Tools. The only time and extra step is necessary is when you don't want the default.

That is because they do not exist as separate functions. You can use the the Classic Scan default for one. For the other you have to save the settings as one of the "Program" keys and then put that "Program" key as an Icon on the Home Screen.

The classic scanner, scanner & quick scan apps all use the same default setting as either email or folder.

You cannot have one app defaulted to SMB another to email they all need to be the same.

THAT REALLY HELPS when he is asking about ricoh not toshiba..........
i guess things are slow there
