MPC3004. display in copier mode . .

Hi,

Got this MPC3004 returned from customer.
Now, when I trie to copy or scan i get the message in display. "To use the following function(s). set key card.

Can I disable this "key card " function? and so how do `I do that?
looked in the WIM, but I can't see where ho disable this key card . . .

anyone?

Hi I don’t have much experience in this model but you can try User tools / system settings / administrator tools / key counter management / set all to OFF

Sounds like the machine had a software solution previously.

There’s an SP mode to turn this off check the service manual but I think it is SP5-113

Go to User Tools > System Settings > Administrator Tools > User Authentication Management, and set it to OFF. Also, go to Enhanced External Charge Unit Management, and make sure no options are highlighted.

You may also need to turn off Administrator Authentication Management.

as copier tech says, after you have unlocked it, please remove any software, especially if you do not use it, disable the java environment (sp5-730> 0) ... and then fasten your seat belts! .. LOL
