Ricoh Mp c6004 Sc865-01

Have a Mp c6004 that keeps having hard drive errors. Tried 3 different new hdd and 1 from a working machine.
It works for an hour to a couple of days. Replaced controller and it worked for 3 days and then came back to 865-01
Not the location power as this started when I delivered it to a new customer and then had to swap it out and does it in my shop.
Power Supply maybe??
Also updated firmware.

Anyone see this before??

Installed another HDD cable. I will update if it works.

Been 1 week with another set of hdd cables and so far all is good.
Thanks everyone for cable Idea. Never seen this 1 before.

sorry to hijack this thread, but can you use those modified cables for a c6003?

They are just bog standard SATA cables, don't see any reason why not.
