You're talking about just the D150 sleeve, and not the entire fusing unit, am I correct?

Yes I carry the d150 sleeve assy but all the other parts for the metis series ie mpc2003 to 6003 are the same part numbers apart from the sleeve and the bottom cover on the fuser assy

My guess is it got damaged from all that " counterfeit" 300 g/m2 paper.

No, this is another customer whose 2003 has a PCB issues, so trying to interchange fuser unit from 2003 to 5503 doesn't fit in.

I thought of these also. I my thought is if the D150 assy lamp will not blow since am interchanging from 2003 to 5503 which is higher model.

    Re: FUSER UNIT RICOH MPC2003

I use the D150 sleeve across the board, all the other parts are interchangeable like mga has said. I even had a rebuilt 45/55PPM unit that I put in a 3003 a while back, just swapped out the bottom plate and it has been running fine for over 6 months now. That said, the 2003 sleeve unit heater I would be afraid would not put out enough heat on a 55ppm device and code out on you.

I will just swap sleeve then because swapping D150 assembly to 5503 is a 50% chance, so to avoid throwing up codes and customer calling all time.
    Thanks for the clue.

D150 is the correct part number for the 5503, this is the higher wattage part, and can be used on all 03 models
