And how dare you YELL at me for providing some insight!
Factory mode has been discussed here on several threads, but a public forum is no place for such a thing!
Seems like you have no business working on that class of machine anyway.

Ricoh changed the service access code and removed it from new service manuals once because too many untrained, unauthorized individuals were causing damage by using it inappropriately. The next time they decide to change it, they will do it in a firmware update and unless you have direct access to a regional rep.

Actually Sandy is one of the most helpful people on this site. Keep going the way you are and you are going to quickly become a persona non grata.

It appears CTN is getting an influx of these types lately. Pissy people that expect everything for free, thinking THEY are right when they have no clue what's going on. And when you mention contributing to the site, they demand you GIVE them what they requested. Ungrateful people really piss me off. Ricoh Pro C7100X SP modeRicoh Pro C7100X SP mode

My 40 plus years of working in Ricoh machines did not teach me how to get into service mode on other brands.

This is true and I agree. Although aAandy actually used 'please' and 'thanks' few times before thread went downhill.
