    Ricoh Pro C900,sc 531-10

Hello, I have a sc531-10 error code, the service manual refers to fusing exhaust fans (one of them).
I have cleaned the fans, even I interchange two of them, I check the wires, but still same code... I think is another issue.
    Anyone can help?

    Thank you

Maybe you are looking at the wrong fan, there are a lot of them. Should be item 42 in the point to point. I tried to upload the point to point, but it fails to upload, I hope you already have it.

Yes.... it was Fan 42, the one in the middle on horizontal position...
Something sticky sponge inside, from upper filter's degradation.
    Thanks a lot

It happened something magical... at the time you were writing, I was thinking "i'm on wrong way"... and saw the three horizontal fans...
I was planned to check this afternoon, when I saw you answer...

A lot of time those exhaust fans also have filters associated with them. A lot of times those filters do not get replaced according to the maintenance table.

Good idea to check the fans next to them as well, back story was working on a Pro C7100 it kept throwing SC code every 300-500 copies for the pressure roller cooling fan (I don't remember the exact SC, sorry), big fan that flows air into the pressure roller duct. After replacing the fan twice and the associated harness and checking the drawer unit. connector on both sides for bent or broken contacts.

Finally raise the white flag and call Ricoh Support. They told me to replace the ITB fan that's next to the pressure roller fan in the drawer unit and that solved the issue, lol. The SC code made no reference of that ITB fan, just stated pressure roller cooling fan error.

*EDIT* I really should have finished the thread before replying and I saw you solved it , but I'll leave my story up as it may help someone in the future.
