A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

It's just so much easier to make those changes via the web interface, I wouldn't do it any other way. Like editing the addressbook: Sure you can use those itty bitty buttons on the panel, or you can use your comfortable, full sized keyboard. Why do it any other way? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If this is ex demo they have locked down the machine admin for some stupid reason and made multiple administrators for this particular device.
I would suggest you login as a supervisor, change all passwords and start from scratch by creating 1 administrator that has access to machine, network and user administration
OK, so the answer is really strange.
The device hadn't been fully unpacked as it's the trial device for a big roll out in a hospital, so it was delivered to IT just for them to set it up to see the best, and easiest, way to set these up on the network. The scanner locks were still in place, he emailed me this morning to say all the options reappeared once the scanner locks were removed, and it was rebooted. I cannot see how that had any bearing on it

Do anyone ever actually read the setup instructions? Every enduser setup machine I know of still had the scanner locks in it, sometimes accompanied by scanner damage. =^..^=
