I know I can be a pain in the ass sometimes
Let say we swap all the parts from the 2051, except the controller, into the 2551. Then the 2551 would work all fine, after all the adjustments ofc. And it would still work like a 2551, right?
So, we now have a huge pile of parts from the 2551 laying around, and a very sorry looking 2051, in fact the only part that the 2051 now consists of is the main controller. We now start to put together the 2051 again, pulling parts from the pile we have laying around after the 2551. After a lot of work we finally get the 2051 rebuilt and start it up, do all the factory adjustments etc. And this machine will work like a 2051, right?
What we have really done with all this work is we have swapped the main controller, right?
Where is the flaw with this line of reasoning?
I don't say with any certainty it will work, I am just trying to make a thought experiment
