optics cleaning cloth + platen glass slippery product

    Hoi,
i used the Photex optics cleaning cloth, but i can't find it anymore.
Now I use Chicopee, and i'm not satisfied.
Which optics cleaning cloth do you use?
    AND
How to make a platen glass more slippery?
Thank you again for your input!

Chiopee ? you mean the yellow stretch clothes? they have a small amount of oil on the to attract toner.

use a soft lint free cloth to clean optics

    try RainX on platen glass.

slippery? are you sure the static eliminators are working not damaged?

Hoi Phil, i make my own glass cleaner: water, vinegar, Dreft (dishery product).
RainX, a wax for cars, i think. OK, it's worth a try.

RainX product I am talking about is for exterior GLASS. they also make RainX Anti-Fog that I used for mirrors to prevent ozone build up.

"Slippery" stopped being an issue 15 years ago, when original belts went by the wayside. Now that most machines slide read, it hasn't been an issue.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I like to put RainX on the scanner slit glass to help keep things from sticking to the glass.

hello, the rags we use here are anonymous, I don't know what brand they are, but they are the classic, blue ones, the garment takes them from our supplier
the product I use for the optics are: multipurpose of the supermarket chain "il gigante", or the glassex, it also works well on the bodywork, if it is not too dirty, however they both do a good job, and are cheap (3-4 euro max)
