    Pro C5100 - SC401-01

    Afternoon all,

    Having trouble with this code.

Tried transfer power pack, toner supply motor, cleaned dustproof glass and tried complete PCDU from another machine.

I'll get a couple of washed out prints before code returns.

    Any advice would be great

    Thanks.

Genuine drum? Old developer? Did you clean the surface of the developer roller? Try cleaning the ID sensor and then running the manual process check.

You can't just swap over pcdus from other machines on production they need to be setup correctly

Just a quick check of the service manual Replacement and Adjustment - Development Unit shows After you take this part out of the machine and put it back, or replace it with a new one, carry out SP3-040-001 to SP3-040-005 (DEMS: Execute).

Trying a complete PCDU from another machine was a good move and should have produced good output. The problem must be somewhere else.

Only if he ran SP3-040-001 to SP3-040-005 (DEMS: Execute) after doing so.
