what's the jam code?

you need the code to be able to know where to look for the problem

when they got jammed, they took the leaf, i lifted a few small acetates in the step and there is the problem for not using the "p" bead blue

you must remove the cap, take out the hook or clip or broken piece of blade.

yes something is out of place....

but the big question is WHAT is the problem.... too many techs replace the clip then a few days later they have to go out again on the same problem .

you need to look at the ERROR log and determine the ROOT CAUSE of the problem.

do you have a service manual for this machine

do you have adf parts

what are the page counts on the ADF parts?

are the rollers and belts smooth?

i doubt it is just a clip out of place.. that would give it SMALL crimp in the paper... not a large one like your small picture shows.

are you trained on any ricoh products?

then carry your ass out there and put a set of eyes on the problem. there are MANY things that could be the reason for the problem.
