    Mpc2003 faint colour pattern

    Hi Everyone,
I have a customer Ricoh MPC2003 on which CYMK are faint. I have force toner supply, TD initialization, changed toner to OEM, Color Registration, Auto Calibration, yet no solution. Attached is a copy of colour pattern for your view.
Does anyone knows what could be cause?.
    Thanks.

Your sample appears to be very weak on the yellow to the point where at first glance it appeared to be completely missing. You made no mention of whether you cleaned anything. Dust is your enemy. If you ran Auto Color Calibration in User Tools - Maintenance without first cleaning all the mirrors, the lamp and lamp reflector you wasted time. You also need to clean the Image Density sensor assembly and the laser shield glasses for all PCU. If the C2003 is not properly kept clean, you cannot expect good color quality.

Changed toner to OEM usually means your developers are gone thus faint colors

But is it just OEM or Genuine Ricoh. OEM does not guarantee the quality of ingredients or production that Genuine does.

If it is made by or under contract for Ricoh it will say Genuine Ricoh. The term OEM is used by after market sellers to mislead people into buying their product. OEM merely mean that the basic components follow the recipe list but does not guarantee quality or particle size of those ingredients.
