Good day or whatever time.i have a Ricoh that is displaying error code sc542 i try to Clair it with yellow button 107 and stop for 5second bet nothing changes what may be the problem that is not entering service mode.i have check the fused unit and all seem fine.thaks in advanced.

171 is fairly old already so if it doesn't want to enter service mode I would make sure all the keypad buttons are working properly first

There is a service mode block somewhere in user tools. You need to log in and unblock it.
