Good day all,

Please can someone help me with the below error message. I am not really familiar with these machines and would like some assistance in resetting the error:

"Replacement Required: PCU Cleaning Unit: Cleaning Blade" is the message displayed. I have physically replaced the cleaning blade but not able to reset the counter and remove the error message.. Anyone able to help?

Before replacing the cleaning blade, set SP3-701-009 to “1” and turn the main power switch OFF. • If you have to turn the power on again before replacing the part, execute the SP again before replacing the part.

I'm afraid I would never post that on an open forum, it's a recipe for disaster if end users get into service mode and start playing

Many years ago Ricoh used to put that information in their service manuals, but when too many untrained individuals started getting pdf copies of the manuals and causing major damage to their machines, they discontinued the practice and a model or two later changed the code.
