    As a follow up i pulled the printer and swapped out a SPC440 in its place.
    The one i pulled i fired up and it seems fine.
    I ended doing all FW updates thanks to the generous member who provided it.
    Danm RICO has made it so you can not use the spc430 or spc440 toners in the spc435..
    same drum drums,powder..
    A real PITA and i never understand their anal obsession with toner cartridges and chips...
    I found if you snap off a few plastic tabs and get the spc435 chip you can make it work..
