Ricoh mp2000 copy too dark

Hi, newbie here... my ricoh mp2000 copier copies too dark... especially on photo. it cannot seen the picture.
but if it text copies is okay ... but when it comes to photomode copy is still do dark even i adjust the density to light
Photomode copy is still too dark...
anyone of you encounter the problem... please help..

Get it serviced by trained tech or replace the old beast.

I'd say it's PCU just needs rebuilding.

possibly charge roller has poor connection. As stated the comment before rebuild or replace PCU

Good old reliable machines just get service by credited ricoh Service Engineer probably just need pcu rebuild. Make sure any parts fitted are original and check

with the OP being an end user rebuilding the PCU is WAY above his pay grade.

actually sir, o change my old PCU to a brandnew one I just notice when it comes photomode or when i photo copy a valid ID the picture is too dark?
but when it comes to text it clear and good.

I actually boss, already change a brand new PCU.... then it turns like that. everytime i Photocopy a valid id its too dark you cannot see the picture
i try to adjust the density it its still too dark.... i dont know it its in the setting of adjusting how to my it lighter or maybe its the toner that i used or the developer.

Sorry sir but, but i dont have a money to replace for a brandnew beast... that's why i joined here because all here are trained technician maybe they encounter this kind of problem that why i tell the problem here... so i can be fixed.
