What was the PM count for the developer? Developer and PCU have the same expected yield of 60k, and we nearly always replace both at the same time.
If you do/ did replace the PCU, you have to input the correction coefficient (there's a label on the PCU that gives you this info) into SP 2-005-235 (K), and set SP3-701-002 (Manual New unit set) to "1" before turning the machine off and replacing the part. Upon restarting the automatic initialization of those settings takes place.
The same goes for when you replaced developer. Set SP 3-701-003 to "1", turn machine off, replace part, turn back on.
I don't believe you can get just developer powder for this series, so if you replaced the development unit, that entails "splitting" the PCDU unit. I've seen where the contact plate/ cover on the back of the unit doesn't get put back on, and you get problems like the ones you're having.
Otherwise, you're looking at maybe a bad black transfer roller in the ITB unit.
My money is on development or drum unit though.
Omertā
didn't you forget to reassemble the back cover of the pcdu?
in any case... clean ID sensors, and run the sp process control routine (all) via sp process.
p.s. don't trust too much of that sp printer test, it could be the bugged firmware and print it bad anyway, even with the machine in perfect state, its happened to me, and someone here on the forum a long time ago.
I reassemble the pcdu back cover, still no luck. Am suspecting the firmware, probably upgrade is needed.
This didn't work either, still faint as before.
Try to do: maitenance-auto color calibration.
Still the same shit.
Try a large format sky shot (or better force full black via SP mode/testpattern) and interrupt it:
Does the toner density look solid on the drum surface + transfer belt (hard to see unfortunately)?
How much toner is left on the transfer belt after the paper transfer passage?
Did you try a different & freshly-unsealed stack of paper?

Forced toner on sp mode, didn't work either still looks faint
