Re: Faint Black on Ricoh MPC2003 color pattern, copy and printout.

    Hello Guys,
I have found the solution, ITB was the cause of the faint black for weeks. An ITB from an old mpc5503 was swapped to MPC2003 and forced toner supply 3times and everything was ok, Attached is a copy of color pattern. Thank you all for your various contributions.

Jeśli to był ITB, to po co trzy razy wymuszony toner w trybie SP ? Ten przypadek jest prawie w każdym takim modelu z serii MP C2003 i MP C2011. Może jest moda do regulacji gęstości tonera w developingu ?

Post your answer in English in the future. We have been getting an excessive amount of spam in foreign languages lately and I almost flagged you as a spammer.

And a lot of senior techs don't like to use an online translator. As for me, in the past I would rather use Google Translate than try to decipher broken English. Lately though we have been getting far too many spam posts many of which are in a foreign language.

Hello,I have a similar problem, I replaced the entire imaging unit (developing drum), according to the manufacturer's procedure.I did toner dispensing, then developer initiation and finally print and copy calibration. The image improved, but it took 3 weeks, about 1,500 black and white and 800 color prints were made. The faint print returned, SP 3201-001 went to 3.5V from 2.7 V. Then I did the same and after some time the faint (no contrast) print returns. Will clearing the Memory Engine help?
