    NAS server as printerserver

This might be a (very) stupid question (forgive me), but is it possible to set a Synology NAS up with a printerserver software?
Are there any disadvantages to a usual printer server set up?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
    Greetings.

I highly doubt it would work with network connected ones.

Then there is this. How do I connect a multifunctional printer to my Synology NAS? - Synology Knowledge Center
