IM C4500 ADF Paper Jamming

Hi,
Customer is complaining about paper jamming in ADF of IM C4500. It was installed couple of months ago. Could it be the paper feed clutch? Is this a common issue on this series?

constant or intermittent jams? Being fairly new I'd think feed rollers or sensors probably just need a clean if it's intermittent...or they are trying to feed poor originals. If it's constant jams there's probably an obstruction in paper path, have had a few of these newer ADF units with motors that fail but then you usually get a SC code and doesn't work at all

Does it have one of those stupid fax stamp slide things in the document area?

It sits where the scanned documents come out, at the rear. If it is not clipped in properly, it can move and cause false jams (J001).
