    Ricoh PC600 jam 048

    Hello guys,

Has anybody had an issue with occurring fusing/exit jams on these printers?

The logging data records jams in section 048 (Exit sensor: Lag jam (When paper feed from Tray 1)

I did notice the hot roller is wrinkly and has not done anywhere near the mileage its suppose to do.

Hi, I don't have an answer for this. In fact only just put 6 of these machines out very recently. That red fuser roller will go wrinkly because this machine is based on other makes like Kyocera. The fusers go like that pretty quickly but they still work for ages after, seen it quite a few times on Kyocera printers and the ones that get a Ricoh badge stuck on them like the SP 5210. I'm not saying it definitely isn't what is causing the fault, but I am saying that I wouldn't focus on it much as something else is probably causing the jams.

Lag jams are when the trail edge of the paper is either early or late reaching a sensor. Is the paper size of tray 1 correct?
