    Three things. Paper.Paper.Paper.
    1. Cheap paper that has been cut from too close to the end of the roll
    2. To much moisture in the paper. Install tray and drum heaters.
    3. Paper being printed on the wrong side first. Paper used to have an arrow on the label indicating which side to print first. Many don't anymore.

If the machine once had a finisher on it the problem will be the exit roller that you fit when fitting bridge unit that gives that problem

Make sure that sp 1113-001 (Curl Correction) is set to default value. Even though this sp is called curl correction, the manual states it is not effective at reducing curl on this model, and to keep it at default. Who is writing this stuff?
It also states that sp1115 must also be at default.

The manual's only suggested solution for curling is to install tray heaters, but since you brought in your own dry paper, that must not it. The paper you brought was dry, right?

    Re: MP C6004 paper curling

i purchased the exit tray assembly that wasnt with the machine. since we removed the fin. we didnt have have it
its not the one we have on the machine, i guess the c5503 exit tray fits the c6004, so this may solve the problem, it looks to be a lot different from the picture, well see
