Savin 9025 SMB firmware patch

Good morning all,

Looking to see if someone out there still has the last firmware patch they came out with (believe for Windows 8) for scan to SMB for this series? We finally had to ditch our old computer that had the folder of firmware from our old Ricoh days.

The 9025 (MP 2550/3350) will only support SMB 1 even with that last firmware version from 2018. It may be better to just replace the machine or use a different scanning method.

Understood but most all of our customers and their IT support are fine with running SMB1 in spite of the worries of the Wannacry virus stuff.

This machine does support SMBv2/v3 when the latest firmware is installed.

 Newly added SMBv2/v3 support.NOTE: This firmware is dependent on the following firmware modules.Please be sure to update all of them: -

System/Copy v1.23 (D0205331V)
Network Support v7.39 (D0205334M)
Web Support v1.55 (D0205335H)
Scanner v01.14 (D0205343G)

Try using the RICOH Firmware Update Tool to update the machine yourself. Search google for "RICOH Firmware Update Tool"
