    If WSD is not disabled on the device it automatically installs a new printer using the generic Ricoh Class driver which is notoriously slow and causes tons of headaches when user codes are implemented. But if it's slow via IP I'd first ping the device to check response times to determine if it's a network or not and take it from there

    Delete driver, put on dhcp for a new ip adress and install it all again.
    Be sure you select the right driver for that pc's Windows platform.
    Check the gateway ip.
    Upgrade firmware.

    Do not let Windows automatically install the printer. After you click "Add Printer" a Window will open that says "Choose a device or printer to add" At the bottom of that window click "The printer that I want isn't listed" Select "Add a printer using IP address or host name" Follow the prompts.

    it could be the dirty ip port, try to delete it, and recreate it, or change ip address, as you like...disable wsd in wim configuration, and install ricoh pcl6 driver on pc
